Ariana Tikao is a leading player of taonga puoro and rongoā practitioner. She will be bringing her Hine Wai Ora taonga puoro sound bath to Māwhera/Greymouth, in association with the Matariki-themed exhibition at the Left Bank Art Gallery Māwhera. Entry is by koha.
Please bring a blanket, yoga mat, and dress comfortably. Ariana will begin by introducing you to her whānau of taonga puoro, Māori ancestral instruments, and then participants will be invited to relax and allow the oro to flow over them and to gain the hauora benefits of the taonga of the tīpuna.
